Woody joins us from Holiday Inn Express Newcastle, where he worked part-time in F&B during his studies. His new role of Marketing Co-ordinator is based in our Leicester office, following his relocation to a new city. Let’s get to know him a bit more!
Which hotel or team do you work in? How long have you been with Atlas?
I’ve just joined the Atlas Marketing team as a Marketing Co-ordinator. Prior to this position I worked at Newcastle City Centre Holiday Inn Express. I have been with the company for two years now!
What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
I have consumed an illegal amount of mint chocolate chip ice cream!
What was your first-ever job?
F&B Assistant at Holiday Inn Express Newcastle City Centre.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Don’t overthink the things that cannot be changed.
What is your top-tier snack?
Sweet popcorn.
In your opinion, what’s the best thing about working for Atlas and why?
The environment is very relaxed and welcoming.
Who has been your biggest influence?
My gramps because of how hard he’s worked and what he has been through. Basically, he is proof that putting in the work and never giving up really does achieve your goals.
