Say hello to Hotel Operations Manager, Daniel! Leading the team at our Warwick hotel since August, we caught up with him to find out what attracted him to the role this year…
Tell us a bit about yourself?
I am from Wolverhampton where I live with my husband Alan and our 2 sausage dogs, I have been with Atlas since August after leaving the Holiday Inn Express Crewe as GM, Previous to this my background has been within aviation.
What attracted you to Atlas Hotels?
I had a performance visit from IHG when I was GM at Crewe and I was advised to visit an atlas hotel to see how you were delivering breakfast during COVID, this got me looking at your careers site and I was really impressed with the HOM role and the values at Atlas.
What has been your highlight of working here so far?
I had the pleasure of accommodating my colleagues who were attending the Atlas Summer party, it was great to meet everyone and start building those connections.
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
I am looking forward to developing in my role as HOM, I think there is a lot of possibilities within Atlas and I am excited to see where this will take me.

Work together- When we work together we are undoubtedly also doing all the other atlas values, it’s really important to me that my team feel valued and that we are all working together to achieve the same goal.
Which of our hotels are you most looking forward to visiting?
I am looking forward to visiting the South West, so Taunton and Exeter will be my first visits.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
When was in primary school I featured on a charity single that reached number 25 in the charts, not quite on the same level as Britney spears but not bad.
