Our pillars

Our four pillars are: Environment, Community, Equality Diversity and Inclusion and Wellbeing. We know that sustainability is important to our employees, guests and investors, so we want to ensure we are doing as much as we can to help.

Environment

We are committed to growing sustainably as a company by reducing the natural resources we use. In the face of a global climate emergency, we are committed to minimising emissions and contributing to a more sustainable future.

We aim to reduce three key areas: Energy, Waste and Water.

Community

Giving something back is important to us. We are in the midst of a two year partnership with the charities Mind and SAMH and since 2023, we've been offering unsold hotel rooms to volunteers via Room to Reward.

In 2024, we published a new supplier code of conduct outlining our expectations on standards for Human Rights, Anti-Corruption and DE&I.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer and ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible. We have refreshed our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy and have trained all managers on this.

Wellbeing

At Atlas, we believe in looking out for one another; mental health is no exception. Life can be a balancing act and managing stress is essential for well-being.

From counselling to mental health first aiders, as well as a peer to peer support app, we support our teams every step of the way.

Charity & wellbeing

We are incredibly proud to partner with Mind and SAMH, organisations that are making a real difference in the lives of so many people.

We’ve partnered with two leading mental health charities to raise awareness, reduce the stigma and fundraise to help support these charities.

We aim to raise £100,000 across the two-year partnership through team and individual fundraising initiatives as well as awareness campaigns throughout our hotels.
